Our Mission
Our mission: At Emmaus exists to create a movement enabling Christian leaders to integrate faith and career - Equipping leaders to live with boldness, kindness, humility, and love so fully that Christ is visible in how they lead, serve, and live each day.
Many Christian leaders quietly wrestle with the same question:
Why does it feel easier to live out my faith at home or church than it does at work?
In today’s corporate world, many professionals feel an unspoken tension between the “home-self,” the “church self,” and the “corporate self.” Over time, that disconnect can create a sense of restlessness—success on the outside, but a lack of peace and alignment within.
The At Emmaus Initiative exists to help leaders close that gap. Our mission is to be a hub of connection and resources to equip and empower Christians in corporate America to live and lead authentically—bringing their whole selves into every meeting, decision, and interaction. We believe faith should not be compartmentalized, but reflected through integrity, courage, humility, love, and empathy in the way we lead and serve others.
Inspired by the story of the disciples on the road to Emmaus, we help leaders recognize how faith can shape everyday leadership—not through louder words or judgment, but through quiet, consistent actions that create a meaningful witness.
What is with the name?!
On the road to Emmaus the disciples were walking with Christ and talking with Christ, but they did not fully appreciate or understand the plan!
It was "At Emmaus" when Christ prayed and broke the bread that their eyes were opened to who he was, they had an "Aha" moment!
It is this transformative moment when we truly understand eternal perspective vs this temporary one that allows us to live Powerful, Purpose filled lives.
The At Emmaus Project strives to enable individuals to have this Aha moment!
